Our rapidly expanding Chinese edge banding factory, a leading manufacturer of high-quality melamine, PVC, and ABS edge banding for the furniture industry, is seeking skilled and experienced Color Matching & Printing Technicians to join our dynamic team. As a Color Matching & Printing Technician at our factory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and accurate reproduction of colors on our edge banding materials. This involves a meticulous approach to color formulation, printing processes, and quality control. Your expertise will directly impact the final product and contribute to our clients' satisfaction. We are looking for individuals with a passion for color, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:
Accurately matching colors using various color matching systems and tools, including spectrophotometers and colorimeters.
Developing and maintaining color formulations for a wide range of edge banding materials, ensuring consistency across different production runs.
Operating and maintaining printing equipment, including rotogravure, flexographic, and screen printing machines.
Troubleshooting printing issues and making necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality output.
Performing quality control checks throughout the printing process, identifying and correcting any deviations from specified colors and patterns.
Maintaining accurate records of color formulations, printing parameters, and quality control data.
Collaborating with other team members, including designers, production managers, and quality control personnel, to ensure efficient and effective production.
Staying abreast of the latest technologies and trends in color matching and printing techniques.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and enhance quality.
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures in the workplace.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in color matching and printing, preferably in the furniture or related industry.
Proven ability to accurately match colors using various color systems (e.g., Pantone, RAL).
Proficient in operating and maintaining printing equipment.
Strong understanding of color theory and printing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and correct color discrepancies.
Proficiency in using spectrophotometers and colorimeters.
Experience with different printing techniques (rotogravure, flexographic, screen printing) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Chemistry, Printing Technology) is preferred but not mandatory with significant relevant experience.
