About the Role:

The PVC edge banding color matching specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and accurate color matching of our PVC edge banding to our clients' specific requirements. This involves a meticulous process, demanding precision and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Working closely with clients to understand their color requirements and specifications, often dealing with complex color codes and samples.
Utilizing advanced color matching technology and software to achieve precise color matches for a wide range of PVC edge banding materials.
Developing and maintaining color formulas and recipes, ensuring consistency and repeatability in production.
Conducting rigorous quality control checks throughout the color matching process to ensure accuracy and adherence to our high standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong foundation in color theory and a demonstrable history of success in color matching within a manufacturing environment. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who possess:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in color matching, ideally within the furniture or related manufacturing industry.
A deep understanding of PVC materials and their properties, including color behavior and processing techniques.
Proficiency in using color measurement instruments, such as spectrophotometers and colorimeters.
Experience with color management software and databases.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
