Machine Operator (Edge Banding)

Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain various edge banding machines, including automated and semi-automated systems.
Set up and adjust machines according to specifications, ensuring optimal performance and consistent quality.
Load and unload materials efficiently and safely.
Monitor the machines for any malfunctions and report any issues promptly.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating edge banding machines in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating different types of edge banding machines (e.g., Holz-Her, Biesse, IMA).
Strong understanding of edge banding materials (PVC, melamine, ABS) and their application.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Good communication skills (Mandarin Chinese preferred, but not essential).

Edge Banding Technician

Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on edge banding machines.
Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions.
Calibrate and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
Replace worn parts and components.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
Assist machine operators with technical issues.
Identify and recommend improvements to machine efficiency and performance.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing edge banding machines.
In-depth knowledge of the mechanical and electrical components of edge banding machines.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (preferred).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills (Mandarin Chinese preferred, but not essential).
