Materials you will need:
Edge banding

Step 1: Cut the edge banding to lengthMeasure the length of the edge you want to cover and cut the edge banding to size. Be sure to cut the edge banding slightly longer than the edge so that you have some overlap.

Step 2: Apply contact cement to the edge banding and the edge of the workpieceUsing a brush or roller, apply a thin layer of contact cement to the back of the edge banding and the edge of the workpiece. Allow the contact cement to dry for a few minutes until it becomes tacky.
