Edge Banding Raw Material Incoming Inspection Standard220

Inspection purpose: To ensure the quality of incoming raw materials, prevent unqualified raw materials from entering the production process, and ensure the quality of finished products.

Inspection scope: All incoming edge banding raw materials.

Inspection content:
Appearance inspection: Check whether the surface of the edge banding is smooth, flat, free of scratches, dents, and other defects.
Size inspection: Measure the length, width, and thickness of the edge banding to ensure that it meets the specified requirements.
Color inspection: Compare the color of the edge banding with the color sample to ensure that it is consistent.
Adhesion inspection: Test the adhesion of the edge banding to the substrate using a tensile tester or other suitable method to ensure that it meets the specified requirements.

Inspection method:

Appearance inspection: Visual inspection.

Size inspection: Use a caliper, micrometer, or other suitable measuring instrument.

Color inspection: Visual comparison with a color sample.

Adhesion inspection: Use a tensile tester or other suitable method to apply a force to the edge banding and measure the force required to separate it from the substrate.

Inspection criteria:
Appearance: The surface of the edge banding should be smooth, flat, free of scratches, dents, and other defects.
Size: The length, width, and thickness of the edge banding should be within the specified tolerance.
Color: The color of the edge banding should be consistent with the color sample.
Adhesion: The adhesion of the edge banding to the substrate should meet the specified requirements.

Inspection process:
The inspector randomly selects samples from the incoming raw materials.
The inspector performs the inspection according to the specified inspection content and methods.
The inspector records the inspection results on an inspection report.
If the inspection results meet the specified criteria, the raw materials are accepted.
If the inspection results do not meet the specified criteria, the raw materials are rejected and returned to the supplier.

Inspection frequency:

Incoming raw materials should be inspected on a regular basis, such as daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on the volume and quality of the incoming materials.

Inspection records:

The inspector should maintain accurate and complete inspection records, including the following information:
Date of inspection
Inspector's name
Supplier name
Raw material type
Quantity of raw materials inspected
Lot number of raw materials
Inspection results
Corrective action taken (if applicable)

The inspection records should be kept on file for future reference.
