As an Apprentice Edge Banding Colorist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and accurate color matching of edge banding to our diverse range of furniture pieces. You will be working alongside experienced colorists, learning various techniques and best practices within the field of edge banding color matching.

Responsibilities:
Assisting senior colorists in the daily color matching process of edge banding materials.
Learning to identify and analyze color variations using various tools and techniques (spectrophotometers, color charts, etc.).
Preparing and mixing color samples according to specific instructions and standards.
Maintaining accurate records of color formulations and sample batches.
Learning and adhering to strict quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Collaborating with other departments (production, quality control, etc.) to address color-related issues.
Assisting in the maintenance and calibration of color matching equipment.
Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your color knowledge and skills.
Keeping a clean and organized workspace.
Maintaining a strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in a related field (e.g., design, art, chemistry) is a plus.
A keen eye for color and detail; exceptional color perception abilities are essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Familiarity with basic color theory is advantageous, but not required; we will provide comprehensive training.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to quality are paramount.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is a plus.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required; English proficiency is beneficial but not mandatory.
