Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility as an Edge Banding Color Matching Apprentice will be to assist our experienced color technicians in the precise matching of edge banding to various substrates. This involves a wide range of tasks, including:
Learning and applying color theory principles to understand color relationships, harmonies, and variations.
Operating and maintaining color-matching equipment, such as spectrophotometers and colorimeters.
Preparing samples of edge banding and substrates for color comparison.
Performing precise color measurements and adjustments using specialized software.
Creating and maintaining accurate color records and databases.
Assisting in the development of new color formulations based on client specifications or market trends.
Collaborating with other team members to ensure the consistent quality of color matching throughout the production process.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Learning about different materials used in edge banding and their impact on color.
Participating in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Following all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

While prior experience in color matching or the furniture industry is a plus, it is not required. We are looking for individuals with the following attributes:
A keen eye for detail and an exceptional ability to distinguish subtle color differences.
A strong understanding of basic color theory or a willingness to learn.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to work.
