Responsibilities:

As a PVC edge banding technician, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Operating and maintaining various PVC edge banding machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Precisely applying PVC edge banding to various types of furniture components, including panels, doors, drawers, and tabletops.
Inspecting finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards and identifying any defects.
Troubleshooting and resolving any machine malfunctions or operational issues.
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Working collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Following detailed work instructions and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Participating in regular quality control checks and reporting any identified issues.
Assisting in the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
Maintaining accurate records of production output and material usage.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in PVC edge banding applications within a furniture manufacturing environment. Experience with different types of PVC edge banding materials (e.g., different thicknesses, colors, finishes) is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of woodworking principles and techniques.
Proficiency in operating various edge banding machines, including automatic and semi-automatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Good communication skills (Mandarin Chinese is essential; English is a plus).
