Tools and Materials
Miter saw

Aluminum trim

Instructions


1. Measure the length of the baseboard that you need to trim. Add 1/2 inch to the measurement to allow for overlap at the corners.


2. Mark the measurement on the aluminum trim with a pencil.


3. Put on your safety glasses and dust mask.


4. Set the miter saw to a 45-degree angle.


5. Place the aluminum trim on the miter saw and align the mark with the saw blade.


6. Hold the aluminum trim firmly in place and slowly lower the saw blade onto the material.


7. Cut the aluminum trim at the marked length.


8. Repeat steps 2-7 to cut the other pieces of aluminum trim that you need.
